Those scrappy Jets…can they do it?
Forty years ago, Broadway Joe Namath gave the world a shock, and NY’ers one of our favorite sports memories of the last half century. Now, the golden child, rookie Marc Sanchez tries to take the underdog Jets into the Super Bowl. One hurdle…Peyton Manning and the Colts. There is a strong chance that the Jets are gonna take a beating. No matter what happens, they have been inspiring to watch the last few weeks. The Jets are scrappy…just like most of us here. If they don’t win, hopefully Sanchez will at least try to grow a cool fu-manchu and maybe make a Noxema commercial as good as Joe did (man does he look stoned or what in that ad?). Whose that hottie with him?
